Our UCU Stirling Branch Hardship Fund is now in operation

Oct 2nd, 2019 | By | Category: News

Once again, our UCU Stirling Branch Hardship Fund is in operation for members who suffer real hardship during the strike, due to the docking of their pay.

If you would like to claim from the fund, please, initially, write to Pam (pmcgibbon2@stir.ac.uk) explaining briefly why you wish to claim, and you will be sent a form to fill in and to return with your payslips showing the amount of pay that was deducted. You will only be able to claim for the amount that was deducted and not for any other expenses.

If you wish to donate to the fund, we can accept cheques, cash or BACS payments. Please send cheques to the Union Office, Cottrell 3A42, made out to UCU STIRLING UNIVERSITY LA072 HARDSHIP FUND and you will be sent a receipt. If you would like to donate cash, please bring it to the Union Office on either Tuesdays or Wednesday afternoons, and you will be given a receipt. If you would like to donate by BACS, details are below. If you do send a donation by BACS it would be appreciated if you could let Pam (pmcgibbon2@ucu.org.uk) know, including the amount, so that she can issue you with a receipt.
