The industrial action is intended to be eight days of strike action and continuous action short of a strike. The strike action will commence on Monday 25 November and end on Wednesday 4 December. Continuous action short of a strike will start on Monday 25 November.

Once again, our UCU Stirling Branch Hardship Fund will be in operation for members who suffer real hardship during the strike, due to the docking of their pay.

If you would like to claim from the fund, please, initially, write to Pam (pmcgibbon2@stir.ac.uk) explaining briefly why you wish to claim, and you will be sent a form to fill in and to return with your payslips showing the amount of pay that was deducted.

If you wish to donate to the fund, we can accept cheques and cash. Please send cheques to the Union Office, Cottrell 3A42, made out to UCU STIRLING UNIVERSITY LA072 HARDSHIP FUND and you will be sent a receipt. If you would like to pay cash, please bring it to the Union Office on either Tuesdays or Wednesday afternoons, and you will be given a receipt.
